The 30 Things To Be Grateful For

You have already learned what are the first 15 things for which you can be grateful in your life. It is not the end of the list as if you wanted, you could find even a hundred little things. However, these thirty things altogether will inspire you to focus on what you have. let’s meet another fifteen things today:

16. Your Wages or Business Profit

What would you do without money, made at work or by your business? I know that sometimes the boss can be nasty or your customers rude. But think of each cent earned at work or in business as a gift, to create good things in this word.

17. Your Pets

How many times has your dog or cat soothed you when you had a bad day? Think of all the enjoyable moments with your pets. The next time your dog or cat comes to you, give them a treat and say “thank you”.

18. Your Favourite Music

What would you do without your favourite song? Sometimes silence is the best kind of music, but in many cases, some sounds can be a good way to soothe your mind and to motivate you. Have you ever said “thank you” to the author of the piece of your favourites music or at least had a grateful thought? If not, you have an opportunity today.

19. The Pool And the Gym

You will appreciate your self-discipline by going to the gym when you can walk up the sixth floor without being exhausted. Apart from shaping a healthy body and increasing your fitness, going to the gym or pool will give you an opportunity to meet cool people. Remember to appreciate that, too.

20. Hot Showers Or Bath

How many times do you appreciate that there is a bath when you can relax, hot water and a pinch of gorgeous sea salt? When was the last time you said “thank you” to God for all the goodies you have?

If you don’t have a car or are living in a big city, public transportation is a must. Then you can be grateful that instead of driving or walking you can focus on something else, e.g. learning a new language. In other words, more productive time. The next time you get off the bus, thank the driver for a safe journey.

22. The Ability to Stay Calm When Other People Panic

If you have this trait, you are the winner. Individuals who remain calm in case of danger can take advantage of the situation. And then you can be proud of your achievements. Staying calm will help you to make better decisions. Congratulate yourself the strength.

23. Medicines

You generally might not like medicines, but thanks to them you can cope with an illness. In some cases, you would not be able to function properly without medication or even risk death. Say “thank you” to your doctor or pharmacist the next time you will see them.

24. Clear Air And the Oxygen

Have you ever suffocated or been living in a polluted area? When you could inhale some fresh air, being on holiday or in the ventilated room, gratitude was apparent. Having oxygen enables you to be creative, to follow your dreams and to have control over your life.

25. Health

It is said that we appreciate health when something is wrong. Then it might be too late.
How many times have you been grateful that you are healthy and fit? That you can run an extra mile, walk up the fifth floor of the building because the elevator is broken and you are not out of breath? If you read at least one story of people who cannot see, are struggling with heart problems or any long-term disease, you will appreciate your health.

26. Your Family

We often appreciate our loved ones when they are gone, when they are not among us anymore. I know that sometimes your parents may be toxic, may have done you wrong, you feel hurt and unwilling to meet them. But they have raised you. In some cases, your family have helped you many times. Forgive those who have hurt you and thank those who have helped you. Be grateful for each life lesson.

27. Wisdom Comprised In Books

How many books did you read last month? What have you learned from them? There might be at least one book which has taught you something, from which you could apply something in your life. Thank the author for that. You can post on their social media wall or just using the wisdom will be the best act of gratitude.

28. Electricity And Heat During the Winter

Imagine that there is no electricity. No computer would work then; you could not watch TV or use electric appliances. In some cases, you would freeze in the winter. You would have no hot water. Even if you had gas, the costs of heating and living would rocket. The next time you will turn on the light think of all those people who have invented and made it.

29. An Unexpected Warm(er) Day In The Middle Of winter

What a miracle! You can turn off the heating and save some money on electricity, gas or other fuel. You can dress fewer clothes and lighter ones. And if the day is also sunny… just go out for a walk or a drive. While doing so, thank God for this lovely day because you never know when the next will come

30. Looking Someone In the Eyes,  honestly Feeling Like You’re Being Seen.

This one is mysterious. However, if you think about your friend and the loved ones, looking into their eyes and being seen is a great feeling. You can read the other person’s mood in their eyes. Be grateful that they show you their real selves, we hide if too often.

Summing out, there are many things you can be grateful at any moment of your life. Remember to practise gratitude on an everyday basis. Then you will learn to focus on the right side of your life and will become a happier person.
