Can women stay happy despite being in abusive relationships? Here are some tips how to do this:
1. Find a place where you will feel happy
Create a place in your mind that is your ideal paradise. It can be a memory of a great holiday, a vision of a future life, or any thought/image which quickly floods your mind and body with positivity. When you feel stressed or abused just go to your happy place, relax there and enjoy it. I know it can be hard, but sometimes it can be your only way to stand back because nobody can abuse your thoughts and imagination, only yourself.
Even if your boyfriend abuses you, you can always resist the negativity by holding to your positive thoughts and visualization of your happy place. You will always find at least a while when he is not present and then fully indulge in the word of happiness.
It may require a little trial and error to identify your happy place and the memory of happy relationship. But once you have identified it, you can use it any time that you need to increase your happiness in your life. This will help you to recover and find the power to fight for respect or leave.
2. Find yourself a hobby
How to experience more positive living is to spend more time doing the things that you love? Indulge yourself in a hobby. It is even better when you are in a relationship with someone who shares your passion. But what can you do if your boyfriend verbally abuses you instead? Consider your friends. You can even start from creative writing which is also healing. Doing something you enjoy will raise your spirits and allow you to maintain a positive attitude while eliminating some of the negativity from your life.
Beware of your thoughts. Pay attention to have only positive thoughts and then you will also do more positive things in your life.
3. Explore new things
It is easy to avoid trying new things because you fear the unknown when you are overcome by negativity and abuse. But, you are experiencing negativity because your current relationship causes you pain. When was the last time you have done something differently in your relationship? It might seem impossible to change your situation, but you can always find the women who succeeded ans started their new life. You can do it, too.
4. Do exercises.
Most people think of exercise solely as a physical activity. However, this is far from the truth. Exercise is just as important as for your physical wellbeing as for your mental health. A regular exercise regime helps you to release stress from your body and fills your body and mind with a sense of achievement, positive feelings and confidence. This is especially important if you are in an abusive relationship. Doing exercises allows you to focus on your strength
You can start doing exercises on your own first, but it will be even better when you find other people. Consider joining the gym or pool.
Transform your life.
Look at your relationship. Are you experience a happy living. If you, think of finding a new hobby, a picture of happy life and join the gym. Make the plan and remember to include your man in it. Then write it down in the journal of success and take the first step.
